PRODAC Systems to Launch DrinkSoft at InterBev 98
Tel Aviv, August 15, 1998 - PRODAC Systems Ltd. will launch the latest addition to its PRODAC line of production management information systems, DrinkSoft™, at the InterBev 98 exhibition in Dallas, Texas in October. DrinkSoft™, decision support software designed especially for the beverage industry, will offer enhanced functionality and performance to PRODAC, incorporating many new features requested by current PRODAC users in the soft drink and beer industries. As InterBev focuses this year on Information Technology, DrinkSoft will be sure to generate much interest at the show.
PRODAC’s DrinkSoft is a modular PC-based generic manufacturing execution system (MES) for beverage packaging plants that provides innovative graphic analysis tools to monitor and improve production efficiencies. The system acquires counts, faults and analog data from automatic sensors connected to line machinery as well as from menu-driven data entry by line personnel. DrinkSoft interprets the data using product and planning details in its database to give everyone in the plant vital information about production, status and quality. The basic production and downtime monitoring and reporting modules can be supplemented by integrated planning and scheduling and/or on-line quality control tools. Moreover the open and flexible client/server DrinkSoft system can adapt to any line geometry and exchange data with other software systems for a complete CIM solution.
