PRODAC’s DrinkSoft™ is a modular PC-based generic manufacturing execution system (MES) for beverage packaging plants that provides innovative graphic analysis tools to monitor and improve production efficiencies. The system acquires counts, faults and analog data from automatic sensors connected to line machinery as well as from menu-driven data entry by line personnel. DrinkSoft™ interprets the data using product and planning details in its database to give everyone in the plant vital information about production, status and quality. The basic production and downtime monitoring and reporting modules can be supplemented by integrated planning and scheduling and/or on-line quality control tools. Moreover the open and flexible client/server DrinkSoft™ system can adapt to any line geometry and exchange data with other software systems for a complete CIM solution.
In addition to the fully automated DrinkSoft™ system, PRODAC Systems offers an entry level manual data entry product, DrinkSoft™ Lite. The manual version offers an affordable solution for semi-automatic, slow or seasonal lines. Alternatively, using DrinkSoft™ Lite, manufacturers can become familiar with the software with minimal time and money invested; the scaleable system can then be easily upgraded to an automated solution, or expanded to include additional modules or lines.
