Coca-Cola Drycker Sverige to Install DrinkSoft on New Packaging Lines
Tel Aviv, December, 2000 - PRODAC Systems Ltd. announced that Coca-Cola Drycker Sverige, the Coca-Cola bottler in Sweden, has signed a contract to install DrinkSoft beverage production management software on the three new lines under construction at its bottling plant in Jordbro outside Stockholm. DrinkSoft was first installed on the plant’s four filling and two sorting lines in 1998, some months after the plant commenced production. Following an extensive benchmarking study that proved that DrinkSoft indeed fulfilled the plant’s objectives, CCDS corporate management decided to install DrinkSoft on the new lines as well, maintaining a complete plant - wide solution and reinforcing the system’s capacity for broad comparative analysis.
PRODAC and its partners on this project – senior system integrators and PRODAC distributors in the UK and Ireland Canongate Technology Ltd. and PRODAC distributors in Scandinavia Novotek AB - are pleased about this vote of confidence for DrinkSoft. “DrinkSoft is a good fit for the Scandinavian beverage market,” said Novotek Sverige AB President Torbjorn Johansson. “The highly automated plants and skilled personnel have the equipment and the capacity to utilize the system and to recognize great benefit from it.
