PRODAC gathers these kinds of data from line sensors and users:
Sensor Data - PRODAC gathers information about throughput counts, non-production and rates automatically. With appropriate package options, PRODAC also acquires and records machine faults and quality control values from sensors.
Configuration - This gives PRODAC basic information about your plant. The PRODAC representative enters these data when the system is set up.
Master Tables Entries These are listings of products, packaging, standards and other information that plant personnel must enter when the system is first set up and can update when needed.
Scheduling Plan - PRODAC stores information according to runs and shifts, and changes shifts automatically at user-configurable times. If your installation includes the Planning option, scheduling personnel use the Planning & Scheduling !program to enter information about shifts, runs, packaging and personnel.
Line Supervisor Reports - Line supervisors use the Log to report the different phases of product changeover as they occur. Line supervisors should also report start and end of break periods. With the Down Time Package, line supervisors can also edit automatically recorded stoppage data using PRODAC Stoppage Data Entry.
Manual Data Entry - Any counting information which is not sensed automatically can be entered through the Manual Data Entry or the Raw Materials Manual Entry facilities. This can include product returned to the line for repackaging, syrup and other raw material counts, and quality control values depending on configured options.
Interfacing, Export and Import - PRODAC can also interact with other computerized management systems. It can import data such as orders, long term planning, inventory and QC data. PRODAC can export information about consumption to inventory tracking systems. Equipment operation time and fault frequency data can be exported to maintenance systems. PRODAC is available fully integrated with SAP Business One as an off-the shelf product, and it has been integrated with SAP R3.
