Each PRODAC installation is custom tailored to the plant. Custom tailoring is done by the PRODAC integrator in cooperation with plant personnel and always includes the following for systems based on automatic data acquisition:
System analysis - the integrator compiles information from plant personnel about line layout, special production procedures, requirements for performance measurement etc. The information will include at least the following:
 Plant procedures and preferences
Type of products
Line layout
Machinery in each line
Special line geometry - multiple packers, multiple fillers
Throughput counters
Reject counter or counters
Existing data acquisition substrate: sensors, PLCs and network
Using these data, PRODAC engineers prepare a detailed site installation plan for your approval, configure and install the system.
Custom data acquisition - The data acquisition system is designed based on existing and new sensors and wiring. Data acquisition software is programmed to handle the inputs for the plant.
Custom monitor - For each line, the integrator prepares a screen showing major machines, diverters and accumulation tables.
Language - Selected PRODAC applications are customized to show prompts, titles and messages in the local language, using translations provided by plant personnel.
Configuration - Information about sensors, lines and machines is entered into the PRODAC data base.
Master Tables Data - The integrator or plant personnel enter basic data about products and stoppage reasons as appropriate to the plant. These data are updated by plant personnel during the lifetime of the system.
System Administration Rights - Plant personnel and the integrator decide and specify which users will be able to change system parameters, who will be allowed to enter data, and who will be able to view data only in different programs.
Alarm Configuration - Plant personnel and the integrator decide and specify the conditions that will cause alarms, and which users will be able to see them.
Tailoring and integration may also include implementing custom import-export features, custom reports and specific modifications to suit plant and industry requirements.
